Carl R. Ice College of Engineering announces faculty and staff awards

The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering presented its annual awards to faculty and staff at its fall convocation on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The awards are designed to commend the dedication of the college's faculty and staff in support of its teaching, research, service and outreach programs.

Charles H. Scholer Faculty AwardHosein Baboly, teaching assistant professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering.

Clair A. Mauch Steel Ring Advisor of the YearDavid Invergo, academic advisor for computer science.

Engineering Distinguished Researcher AwardPascal Hitzler, university distinguished professor of computer science.

Engineering Staff Award of ExcellenceLeanne Reineman, assistant director for the College of Engineering.

Frankenhoff Outstanding Research AwardVaishali Sharda, associate professor of biological and agricultural engineering.

James L. Hollis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate TeachingConstance Lare, teaching assistant professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering.

Larry E. and Laurel Erickson Public Service AwardKimberly Waggle Kramer, professor of architectural engineering and construction science.

Myers-Alford Memorial Teaching AwardJessica L. Heier Stamm, associate professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering; and Caterina Scoglio, university distinguished professor of electrical and computer engineering.

Outstanding Assistant Professor AwardHande Küçük McGinty, assistant professor of computer science; and Andrew Sneed, assistant professor of architectural engineering and construction science.

Robert R. and Lila L. Snell Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching AwardLisa R. Wilken, associate professor of biological and agricultural engineering.
