Areas of Interest and Expertise
Management of programs, teams, events, and operations; environmental and sustainability assessments; technology development and transfer; serve as SME on a number of peer review boards and technical committees for professional organizations and journals including American Society of Civil EngineersSustainability& Environment, American Institute of Chemical Engineers-Environmental Progress& Sustainability, and Journal of Sustainability Education.
Provided leadership and technical direction for environmental management projects at a research university, military installation, and regulatory agency. More than a decade of solid experience, performing a full range of engineering, scientific, and managerial tasks with progressively increased levels of responsibility. Seven plus years at Kansas State University, four years as a Department of Defense civilian, and four years as an engineer with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. From evaluating emerging technologies to streamlining the process of permitting new facilities, he has actively worked to enhance product development, environmental stewardship, and fiscal responsibility.
