Areas of Interest and Experience

Since 1995, Dr. Griswold has been involved with public education and outreach services, working with communities in urban, rural, and tribal settings on environmental issues and sustainability. She is currently engaged in researching perspective transformation among university students learning about sustainability in their respective fields. She serves as an evaluative researcher for several projects, including the EPA Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program and the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates at KSU. She develops qualitative and quantitative research instruments and has expertise in interview and focus group methods.
