A Night With K-State Engineering

An event designed for students interested in the K-State Carl R. Ice College of Engineering

The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering hosts events for high school and community college students interested in pursuing an engineering, computer science or construction science degree at K-State.

Representatives will lead an interactive presentation for students and their guests on the following topics:

  • Types of engineering
  • Engineering careers
  • Successfully transitioning to an engineering degree
  • Q&A session with K-State engineering students and college leaders

Students who register and attend will receive a free K-State engineering-branded T-shirt!

The College of Engineering will award a $1,000 scholarship* to a high school senior or transfer student and a $500 scholarship* to two high school juniors in attendance.

*To receive this scholarship, senior and transfer students must enroll full-time in the summer or fall 2026 semester in the College of Engineering, and juniors must enroll full-time in the summer or fall 2027 semester in the College of Engineering. Scholarships are nontransferable. A student may be entered into one drawing per academic year and previous scholarship winners are not eligible for a second award.
