Printing
Engineering IT manages printers in the Fiedler Learning Commons (1093 Fiedler Hall) and 1127 Engineering Hall (DUE1127). 1127 Engineering Hall has two printers and Fiedler Learning Commons has three. These printers are set up to automatically balance the print jobs between them for each location.
All print jobs from any Carl R. Ice College of Engineering computer lab (1093/1093K Fiedler Hall, 1113 Engineering Hall and all study rooms) will print exclusively to a queue named ENGG-Labs. Jobs are held in the queue and will not print automatically.
To release your print job, visit a print-release station located in 1127 Engineering Hall or 1093 Fiedler Hall. You must either swipe your student ID card or log in with your eID and password to release the file.
Print jobs default to double-sided printing. These steps are in place to help reduce the significant amount of wasted paper we continue to see at our printers.
All of our printers are HP M611dn models.
