Background and purpose

The Gattani Outstanding Graduate Student Award was established by Sanjay Gattani to support Kansas State University, the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering and graduate students. The award recognizes outstanding contributions in research and graduate education in the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering by a graduate student who has demonstrated excellence in research in engineering and/or made a significant impact on the graduate student population.

Eligibility

Each academic department may submit one nomination. To be eligible the student must also be enrolled full time during the academic year in which the award is given. The recipient will receive a certificate and cash award of $1,000.
