Research Activities and Support
The office of Engineering Research and Graduate Programs, or ERGP, provides services to increase sponsored project funding for research, education, and outreach for the college. ERGP supports high-quality proposal development and research administration support while fostering a vibrant community of engaged faculty, scholars, and research leaders.
ERGP is committed to offering the following research support:
- Proposal Development Support Services: Offer assistance with narrative development, editing, graphic design coordination, and budget preparation.
- Advance Planning and Facilitation: Support for major grant program solicitations, including strategic guidance and coordination.
- Faculty Engagement: Support of on- and off-campus events for faculty through college research sessions, networking opportunities, and other research-related events.
- Funding Identification and Collaboration: In partnership with the Office of Research Development (ORD), assist faculty in finding funding opportunities and building collaborative teams across the university.
- Early Career and New Faculty Support: Provide research resources, guidance, and encouragement for tenure-track and new faculty.
- Research Administration Guidance: Assist faculty with navigating research administration processes and requirements.
- University Liaison Services: Act as a bridge to university-sponsored projects and affiliated offices, including the Office of Research Development, Office of Sponsored Programs, Corporate Engagement, and K-State Research Foundation (KSURF)
