Industry-Engaged Education

Training students to be successful engineers goes beyond technical proficiency — it must include teaching them about sustainability, communication, industry terminology, interdisciplinary teamwork, leadership and more. To enhance these skills and create new relationships with industry, the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering employs four professors of practice. These faculty share expertise and teach students from years of industry experience.
