One Health
The “one health” concept recognizes the interconnection among people, animals, plants and their shared environment with the goal of achieving optimal health on a local, regional, national and global scale. The college conducts research on components of the one health system while collaborating in transdisciplinary teams on more comprehensive one health research.
Research expertise
Areas include biomedical engineering systems, disease transport modeling, ecosystem service analysis, environmental health, sensors and controls, water, logistics and scheduling.
