Engineering Education Abroad Grant
A limited number of grants ranging from $250 to $1,000 are available each year to U.S. residents who are actively enrolled in a Carl R. Ice College of Engineering degree program and plan to participate in an education abroad experience. Grants may be used for the following types of programs:
- Semester-long education abroad experiences for students in any College of Engineering degree programs.
- Any education abroad experience for students enrolled in biological systems engineering, environmental engineering or agricultural/engineering technology management degree programs.
Students must receive academic credit for their education abroad and it must be part of their engineering degree program of study at K-State. In addition, please bring a completed, signed copy of the Education Abroad Academic Approval Form (pdf) to the Dean's Office, 1046 Rathbone Hall. Upon completion of this application and submission of the signed academic approval form, students will be notified of their scholarship grant status.
If selected to receive the Engineering Education Abroad Grant, the amount will be funded to the student's KSIS account upon return from the experience, verification of enrollment in a credit course affiliated with the trip and submission of a short summary statement with a minimum of two photos.
