This Engineering Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching recognizes a full-time faculty member with at least two years of teaching experience in the college who is involved in student engagement and scholarship.
The Myers-Alford Memorial Teaching Award recognizes outstanding teaching efforts.
The Robert R. and Lila L. Snell Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award is given to a full-time faculty member in the college, at the associate professor rank or higher, and with at least five years of teaching experience in the college.
Four awards are presented each year university-wide. One is made annually in the College of Arts & Sciences; the other three awards alternate among six of the other colleges. The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering receives this award on even-numbered years.
This award is for faculty or staff who have demonstrated excellence in the enhancement of diversity and inclusion in the college.
The Larry E. and Laurel Erickson Public Service Award recognizes a faculty or staff member who has been employed in the college for at least five years and has demonstrated exemplary public service.
The Charles H. Scholer Faculty Award, established by donations from the friends and family of Charles H. Scholer, recognizes an outstanding faculty member in the college.
The Clair A. Mauch Steel Ring Advisor of the Year Award recognizes individual achievement in advising by a full-time faculty member.
The Engineering Distinguished Researcher Award recognizes sustained and consistent research excellence by a full-time full professor within the college.
The Frankenhoff Outstanding Research award is based upon research accomplishments during the past five years.
The Outstanding Assistant Professor Award recognizes faculty members who are on the tenure-track in the rank of assistant professor, have recently gone through mid-tenure review, and have performed at an exceptional level in teaching and/or research.
The Dean’s Award of Excellence recognizes outstanding contributions in teaching, research and/or service in the college.
The Engineering Staff Award of Excellence fosters excellence in the workplace by rewarding and recognizing unclassified professional staff who achieve excellence.
The Team Award of Excellence recognizes and rewards the service of groups who achieve excellence and/or make exemplary contributions to the mission and values of K-State and the Carl R. Ice College of Engineering.
The James L. Hollis Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching was an annual award given from 1971-2022 to full-time engineering faculty members.
